"I had a booking for Friday morning at 2:30 am. In communication with the driver prior to my flight i was told to call once i was at the arrivals. I did, at 02:10. Driver said we should wait in arrivals and he will pick us up in 10 min. It was 40 min later, he hadn't arrived and hadn't called. I finally called him to find out he never came to pick us up. In a scrambled message he was telling me to contact someone else. Wifi in the terminal was not working properly. It took me a long time to work out the number to call and place the call. This driver was completely unclear telling to arrive at a pickup point which was not aware of. It took a few more calls before i could understand this point was not in the terminal but rather quite far away. We finally asked around and got to this point long after. It is unacceptable that: 1. Driver does not show up 2. Driver makes no contact 3. Replacement driver does not pick us up from the terminal as agreed 4. Replacement driver fails to explain where this pickup point us. This calls for a full refund for this bad service and experience."

"First and foremost, my booking was made 2 days prior to the date of pick up. I left pretty clear instructions of the meet and greet for the driver so that he and we had no problems finding eachother. Our flight was due to land at 13:40pm and I specifically made sure to give a buffer of 50min so that the driver did not have to wait for us if there could have been a delay in the flight. With this, the flight landed 10-15minutes earlier that usual, so this is now around 13:20pm. We waited until the agreed 14:30pm pick up time at the arrivals terminal at Luton Airport. First and foremost, it was incredibly discouraging to find that the contact number to the cab company that we were assigned, wasn't working. I tried to call at least 4-5 times and not once did I manage to get through to someone. After calling taxicode, I got a call back to find out that the taxi company they assigned wouldn't be able to make it anymore and that they tried to make us another booking but failed. I was promised a refund (which I didn't get) and was told to organise my own means of travel. Now please bare in mind that we were travelling with 5 adults, 2 small and lots of baggage. I was thoroughly dissapointed with this experience and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress to me and my family. We were about to go outside and pay a premium for the taxi's outside the arrivals terminal until I got a call from the driver that he is on his way. He didn't even come to meet us at arrivals, but had to make our way to pick up/ drop off because he wanted to save some money. While we ended up in the 7 seater that we ordered (almost 2 hours after landing) the whole experience has been sorely disappointing, and the lack of communication was not very good from the company we were assigned. I will make sure I will be receiving a full refund. None of this was acceptable. "

Once in the taxi the driver told us that because he had a multiple person vehicle (a Volkswagen 7 seater) that we would have to pay more which created an argument at the beginning of the trip in the car bearing in mind it was 1am. Eventually the driver gave in that we wouldn’t pay extra for the amount we prebooked and completed the journey. "

"The driver rang to say he would be late. My partner and I were sitting in the front and the windscreen had a crack through the middle a 3rd of the way up the windscreen. My seatbelt was broken. On the return journey after 5 minutes or so the car broke down. The engine just died. This happened 4 or 5 times or so until we limped home. This car was inadequate for public carriage, it was unroadworthy and unsafe and therefore we would like our money returned. We took his licence details and will possibly report to Watford council. We have photographic evidence also."

As it was we had a very confused conversation and thank goodness my 18 year old son was with me and knew how to follow the whatsapp instructions the driver was given I did try to call Watford cabs several times to see if I could contact the driver but the telephone number just told me to make a booking online and then disconnected. The drivers satnav needs some updating too - I have never taken such a complicated and and round about route home ... in the end I had to give him instructions as we were going down side streets completely unnecessarily. We got home safe and sound in the end ... "

I called the driver numerous times and when he did answer he just said “ring the company” and hung up. If you can imagine a 12 hour day festival, drunk and aching to then have to walk for 1.5 hours and then pay an additional £200 to get home when we had a prebooked prepaid taxi, absolutely disgusted. "This service was the most unprofessional service I received from a taxi provider. I booked a car in the evening online and was not offered the option to book a car of the appropriate size. To make sure there would be no confusion, I called the office and specified that I had 3 suitcases and was told to go ahead and go online and pay. I payed via paypal and received a confirmation that all was organised and that I would have a taxi at 5:30 am for the airport . At 4 am I received a notification that my booking was cancelled and i needed to go online and do another booking for a bigger car and pay an entire new booking . I was told all was fine and the booking was cancelled by them because of the size of the first car. I pay 72 pounds for another booking. The money was accepted , the booking confirmed by email shortly after and I was expecting a taxi for 5:30 am. At 4:45 am I received another email cancelling my booking once again . no explanation , just that the provider would try to find another taxi. By that time I was getting quite angry . I did not have the luxury to wait for this service provider to get their act together as I had a flight to catch . I ordered an uber that arrived few minutes later . While we were getting the suitcases in the car, a driver called me saying he was 10 to 15 minutes away and I should not worry . i was speechless and so angry by the audacity . I told the driver that the company has took two payments from me and sent me two cancellations back to back and now was expecting me to have faith that a driver was miraculously going to appear on time to catch my flight ? I do not think so and have contacted paypal to dispute the two charges I can now see on my account . Advise to fellow travellers? Don't bother . The stress is not worth it . "
