Once in the taxi the driver told us that because he had a multiple person vehicle (a Volkswagen 7 seater) that we would have to pay more which created an argument at the beginning of the trip in the car bearing in mind it was 1am. Eventually the driver gave in that we wouldn’t pay extra for the amount we prebooked and completed the journey. "

As it was we had a very confused conversation and thank goodness my 18 year old son was with me and knew how to follow the whatsapp instructions the driver was given I did try to call Watford cabs several times to see if I could contact the driver but the telephone number just told me to make a booking online and then disconnected. The drivers satnav needs some updating too - I have never taken such a complicated and and round about route home ... in the end I had to give him instructions as we were going down side streets completely unnecessarily. We got home safe and sound in the end ... "

I had a hard time trying to understand him because I have ears problems when I fly. I finally manage to understand that I should have to walk to a pick up point that I had no idea where it was because it was my first time in London. This is the reason I booked Meet and Greet! I understand that they are refurbishing the airport parking for that purpose but it would have been nice to be informed in advance and given the necessary information for us to know what to do and where to go without feeling stressed."

"The taxi driver and journey were fine. What I was disappointed with was when I tried to cancel the taxi I was told that I would only receive back 10% of the money I paid. I therefore had to leave it as I couldn’t afford to lose the money. I wanted to cancel it a week in advance. This is completely unacceptable and should be made clear to people before they make bookings. You do not need to keep over £100 of a £195 payment when the taxi wasn’t even confirmed (it wasn’t confirmed until 5 days later) so you would not have had to pay the driver. I will never be using your service again because of this. "

To make sure there would be no confusion, I called the office and specified that I had 3 suitcases and was told to go ahead and go online and pay. At 4 am I received a notification that my booking was cancelled and i needed to go online and do another booking for a bigger car and pay an entire new booking . I was told all was fine and the booking was cancelled by them because of the size of the first car. I pay 72 pounds for another booking. The money was accepted , the booking confirmed by email shortly after and I was expecting a taxi for 5:30 am. At 4:45 am I received another email cancelling my booking once again . no explanation , just that the provider would try to find another taxi. By that time I was getting quite angry . I did not have the luxury to wait for this service provider to get their act together as I had a flight to catch . I ordered an uber that arrived few minutes later . While we were getting the suitcases in the car, a driver called me saying he was 10 to 15 minutes away and I should not worry . i was speechless and so angry by the audacity . I told the driver that the company has took two payments from me and sent me two cancellations back to back and now was expecting me to have faith that a driver was miraculously going to appear on time to catch my flight ? I do not think so and have contacted paypal to dispute the two charges I can now see on my account . Advise to fellow travellers? Don't bother . The stress is not worth it . "

You do not need to keep over £100 of a £195 payment when the taxi wasn’t even confirmed (it wasn’t confirmed until 5 days later) so you would not have had to pay the driver. "This service was the most unprofessional service I received from a taxi provider. I booked a car in the evening online and was not offered the option to book a car of the appropriate size. To make sure there would be no confusion, I called the office and specified that I had 3 suitcases and was told to go ahead and go online and pay. I payed via paypal and received a confirmation that all was organised and that I would have a taxi at 5:30 am for the airport . At 4 am I received a notification that my booking was cancelled and i needed to go online and do another booking for a bigger car and pay an entire new booking . As i was desperate to get to the airport on time I agreed to do it and called the office to ensure i would be refunded . I was told all was fine and the booking was cancelled by them because of the size of the first car. I pay 72 pounds for another booking. The money was accepted , the booking confirmed by email shortly after and I was expecting a taxi for 5:30 am. At 4:45 am I received another email cancelling my booking once again . no explanation , just that the provider would try to find another taxi. By that time I was getting quite angry . I did not have the luxury to wait for this service provider to get their act together as I had a flight to catch . I ordered an uber that arrived few minutes later . While we were getting the suitcases in the car, a driver called me saying he was 10 to 15 minutes away and I should not worry . i was speechless and so angry by the audacity . I told the driver that the company has took two payments from me and sent me two cancellations back to back and now was expecting me to have faith that a driver was miraculously going to appear on time to catch my flight ? I do not think so and have contacted paypal to dispute the two charges I can now see on my account . Advise to fellow travellers? Don't bother . The stress is not worth it . "
